In AG3 they talk, you walk around, hug, and girls even interact amongst each other.

Load up a sex scene, fuck, it's over, or the rest of the gameplay operates in an entirely different mode, usually with severely reduced graphics or player freedom. and being able to interact with them outside of sex is also a huge plus. No selecting options in menus, no choosing a girl from a conveyer belt, no loading screen or reset video buffer between anything but rooms. The seamless world is the determining factor: you act upon that world (and the people in it) naturally. Not being able to speak at all is of course a huge limitation, but at least everything you do is truly your choice. Menu driven dialog is all dialog *not* written by you, so your choices are merely compromises of what is available, not what *you* would have done. Always having the same available actions be consistent helps immersion too: you can more easily *become* the character if you know exactly what he is capable of. For me, having a limited, but consistent number of actions is preferable to being given choices by a menu, and having the menu execute the choice for me. Everything you do is done by you the player directly controlling your character through a given set of possible actions.

I suppose I play H games for more than just fapping then, because I don't require immersion into normal hentai/porn.ĪG3 has no menus. AG3 actually renders the moving around and changing of sexual positions. I might as well be watching a powerpoint slideshow if it's not going to actually render shit. For example, Artificial Academy has a series of sex positions, and when you change positions, the screen goes blank and the characters are re-rendered in the newly selected position. Artificial Academy and games like it are all menu based, which is fine, but for some reason clicking on menus to talk or change positions just kills the immersion for me. It is the only H game I know of that attempts to be a complete, uninterrupted, rendered simulation of life.
